check-in & departures:

We want your arrival and departure at Marin Vista Retreat to be as smooth as possible. Because we host large groups of up to 29 (*21) our cleaning and maintenance window is very tight; we appreciate your cooperation in honoring these times.

🕒 Standard Times

• Check-In: After 4:00 PM

• Check-Out: Before 11:00 AM

• Entry: Self-check-in via secure lockbox (instructions provided prior to arrival).

⏳ Flexibility & Fees

Early arrivals or late departures are subject to availability and the cleaning schedule of other bookings. These cannot be guaranteed until shortly before your stay.

⚠️ Unapproved Times: To protect our cleaning window for the next guest, any unapproved early arrivals or late departures will be charged $245 per hour.

• Short Adjustments (Under 1 Hour)

• Fee: $85

• Confirmation: Can only be confirmed a few days before your stay.

• Extended Adjustments

  • Over 1 Hour: $95 (first hour) + $125 for each additional hour.

  • Confirmation: Can be arranged one week before check-in.

  • Extra Early/Late (10:00 AM or 4:00 PM): $750 flat fee. Requires confirmation 1–2 weeks out.

🔍 Property Showings

We welcome potential guests to view the home when it is not occupied by other groups.

• Initial Showing: One (1) complimentary showing per group. We ask that your group coordinates to view the property together.

• Additional Visits: Any visits requested after booking (for planning/measuring) can be arranged for a $45 fee per hour.
