3.  Are Parties or Events allowed at the home?

  • Planning a Retreat or Workshop? If you are hosting a corporate retreat, yoga workshop, or bringing in outside vendors (like caterers or instructors), please reply to this message. We have a brief supplemental agreement and a request for vendor insurance (COI) that we’ll send over to ensure everything is covered under our professional insurance policy.

7.  Is the tap water drinkable?  Yes! It’s better than bottled.

 Answers:

1. How many guests can the home accommodate? To help you coordinate your retreat, here is the breakdown of our 11 to 13 separate beds across 8 dedicated sleeping areas:

  • 🛌 Sleeping Arrangements:

• Standard Occupancy: up to 19 Guests comfortably / Max: 21 Guests (upon approval/fee)

• Total Bed Count: 10 Permanent beds (3 Kings, 3 Queens, 3 Fulls, 1 Twin)

  • ➕ Flexible Options: Up to 2 high-quality folding beds available upon request (extra fee applies/supplied fresh & dressed), bringing the total to 13 separate beds.

🧡 3 level home - Bedroom Layout Description (Also see layout map) 🧡

🟢 Main Level (No Steps): Ideal for guests seeking easy access without stairs. These rooms are steps away from the Great Room, Kitchen, and Main View Decks:

  • Bedroom 1 – Sage Room: Queen Bed (sleeps 2)

    • Offering peaceful views of the garden patio and the natural hillside, this room is positioned for those who want effortless, level access to the kitchen, great room, and the sunny front patio.

  • Bedroom 2 – Rose Room: Queen Bed (sleeps 2)

    • An inviting room featuring beautiful views of the mountains. Like the rest of the main level, this room is entirely step-free from the home’s entry and provides immediate, easy access to all the main common areas and view decks.

🟢 Lower Level This level is defined by seamless indoor-outdoor living. Every bedroom on this floor features private access through large glass doors to an expansive shared deck with mountain and Bay views.

  • Bedroom 3 – Forest Room: Eastern King Bed (sleeps 2) 👤👤


    • Enjoys Mountain Views through 6’ sliding glass doors that open directly onto large lower deck, offering privacy, light, and escape.

  • Bedroom 4 – Sun Room: Queen Bed (sleeps 2) 👤👤

    • Serene retreat featuring French doors that lead out to the large viewing deck with seating of the Marin hills.

  • Bedroom 5 – Sky Room: Two Full Beds (sleeps 4 👤👤 & 👤👤)

    • Fun and inviting room with two full size beds that sleep up to 4. Large Bedroom enjoys 8-foot French doors provide a wide-angle view of the mountains with direct access to the outdoor deck and seating.

  • Bedroom 6 – Tree Room: Full Bed (sleeps 2 👤👤)

    • Cozy, secluded escape with its own side-door access to the deck and vistas.

🟢 Upper Level This is the home’s highest vantage point, where the architecture truly meets the horizon.

  • Bedroom 7 – Master Suite: California King Bed (sleeps 2) 👤👤

    • Bedroom enjoys vaulted ceilings, en-suite View bathroom, and large sliding glass windows showcasing the mountains. Private view deck with full panorama.

  • Bedroom 8 – Large Loft: California King Bed + Twin Bed (sleeps 3) 👤👤 & 👤

    • Open-concept loft has incredible house views and overlooks the Great Room. Featuring a Twin bed on the "Library side" and a California King on the opposite side; both, individually, can be made secluded by the use of blush velvet privacy curtains. Guests in the loft have easy access to either the Primary Suite bathroom or the Main Level bathroom just a few steps away.

2. What amenities are provided?    

  • Kitchen: Cookware, dinnerware, kitchen towels, top appliances.

  • Fresh hand and bath towels.

    • For all guests - 1 bath towel & 1 hand towel, 2 washcloths.

  • Reading material, books, local activity binder, maps, TV's.

  • Wireless Internet, Cable TV/ HBO

  • General hand soap, Dish-washing Liquid, and laundry detergent for 1-2 loads. Laundry detergent (couple loads)

  • Blow dryer in each of the 3 bathrooms - on wall (3 total).

  • Toilet paper, Paper Towels (initial supply only).

  • NO Shampoo or Conditioner as most prefer their own.

Audio/Video Available:​

  • Internet Access:  Yes.  Cable internet. Wifii throughout house.  Fast!

  • DVD/VCR players (movie selection available at home)

  • Large Projector Screen, pull down (projector not supplied)

  • TV's:

    • Great Room: Main Floor living area.

      • Vizio 70” 4k TV - New 2020!

Laundry Machines / Washer-Dryer:

Large load laundry W/D machines are located in the garage along with iron and ironing board. (*detergent not provided)

Pool, off-site

  • Please Bring signed lease agreement for "resident discount".

  • With Marin Retreat Vacation

    • Lease: $5 Adult, $4 child.

      • Read here for the most up-to-date rates (Note the fee helps keep the pool from over-crowding and only residents may attend.  The pool is heated in a beautiful valley and complete with life guards,. On weekends there full obstacle course for adults and kids alike. Also, there is a toddler area with water spouts.  Really fun.  Directly across are a few family restaurants.

  • Pool amenities:

    • Diving Board

    • Large awesome adult lap seamless pool.

    • Children's Obstacle set-up during public swim- they love it!

    • Great Toddler/baby area- water feature with spongy surface

    • Life Guards on duty.

    • Child life vests are available at front desk- just ask to use!

    • Warm water temperature!

    • PLUS:

      • Picnic tables, Play structure, Lawn, Basketball courts outside swim area.

      • Grocery, Organic Ice Cream, Grass Fed burgers - all available across the street!

  • For winter (Terra Linda Pool closes to public):

Are pets allowed at the house?

  • No pets allowed (due to allergies of other guests that check-in after group).

  • Pets with Service Dog license are allowed with addition fee of $285. Please note, this is to secure the home is dander free for other guests and additional steaming within 4-hour turnover.

Can I ship my package ahead of time?

Please do not ship to the rental home. We recommend shipping to the nearby FedEx location, 1.5miles from the home’s location
